After noticing in our bathroom, the substantial number of products my daughters were experimenting with either to clear their skin or trying to find a solution with such as hair dryness, breakage, relief from dandruff, and more.Their skin had constant problems such as rashes, eczema, allergies, sensitive skin, dryness, and especially acne. As African descendants, we have inherited this special, beautiful type of hair that sometimes some of us tend to struggle with a little bit to manage. Most of us have this beautiful natural coarse hair that is strong and thick, with kinky tightly coils. Our hair is very fragile and easily prone to damage; it dries out very quickly; it has extreme shrinkage. Finding the right product is necessary for a lot of us to maintain our natural looks. I decided to do some research on products that I can create myself with natural plant base ingredients and herbs that will help them not only improve their skin but also provide a healthy, nourishing glow and texture to both the skin and hair. I started with making a few soaps just for personal use. The girls love them; their skins were cleared, and they were happy with the softness and the moisture retained after using the soap. Then, I moved on to making body butters, sugar scrubs, then hair oils and creams. I gave some samples away to my neighbors, co-workers, and friends, and they were satisfied with the end results of the products. After 2 years of experimenting and trials of myself, my children, and other people testing out the products with success and great reviews. Today, what started as a hobby became a mission for a good cause. From then on, I was inspired to join the world of soap making, skin care, and hair products.
